We’re excited to keep our families informed and give interested families an inside look at our staff and preparations. Here, you’ll find the latest happenings around our facility, including exciting improvements and teacher updates!

Currently, we’re working on several outdoor upgrades coming this year:

1. Pole Barn – A new structure to provide covered parking for our buses and additional storage.

2. Pavilion & Soccer Field – We’re adding a pavilion and a soccer field in the back lot, along with a fire pit, thanks to our wonderful partners at SWLC!

3. Outdoor Storage Shed – A new shed behind the playground for outdoor classroom materials and toy storage

There’s a lot happening this year, and we can’t wait to share the progress with you! Stay tuned for more updates.

Teacher Anniversaries & Life Updates

Congratulations to Miss Linda!
This past December, Miss Linda celebrated five years at SonShine! As our Lead Teacher in the Trailblazers room, she brings a deep love and passion for teaching children about God. We are so grateful for her dedication, hard work, and the impact she has on our students!

Best Wishes to Miss Maddie!
A huge congratulations to Miss Maddie, our Guppies Lead Teacher, on her recent marriage this past November! We wish her and her husband, Jay, a lifetime of happiness, love, and joy.

Cheers to Miss Alyssa!
Miss Alyssa, our Lead Weebles Teacher, is celebrating four years at SonShine this month! She is truly the life of the party and brings so much joy to our youngest group. Her energy, enthusiasm, and love for her students make her an incredible part of our team!

Applause for Miss Jacque!

This January, Miss Jacque is celebrating two years as our Administrative Assistant! She has been part of the SonShine family in various roles over the years, and we are so grateful for her dedication in this position.

Way to Go, Miss Rose!
Miss Rose, our Lead Teacher in the Pioneers room, is celebrating two years with us this February! She is incredibly dependable and has a passion for creating fun and engaging ways for children to learn.

Happy One-Year Anniversary to Miss Alena!
Miss Alena, our Sprouts room Lead Teacher, is celebrating her first year at SonShine this month! We are so happy with all the activities, joy, and love she has brought to the children in her classroom.

Happy One-Year Anniversary to Miss Murphy!

Miss Murphy has been with SonShine since April 2024! Our Wiggles classroom loves having her as their afternoon Teacher, Thank you for all you do Miss Murphy!
